Interdisciplinary Journal of Arts, Music and Education is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research at the intersection of music, education, the arts, music therapy, art therapy, psychology, public health, social work, and creative industries. The journal explores the transformative potential of artistic practices in pedagogy, well-being, mental health, and rehabilitation, and aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue across a range of fields.

Supported by the Asociación Española para el Desarrollo de la Musicoterapia y la Salud Mental, the journal encourages innovative approaches that integrate creative expression with therapeutic, educational, and social practices, bridging diverse disciplines such as psychology, social work, and cognitive science.

The journal also explores how digital tools and technology are reshaping the landscape of music therapy and art education, as well as the role of the arts in promoting mental health and public well-being. Articles in the journal also address the intersection of philosophy, culture, and the arts, as well as the growing role of the creative industries in shaping educational and therapeutic practices.

Published quarterly in English, the journal offers multilingual abstracts in Spanish and Chinese to promote global accessibility and scholarly inclusion, making cutting-edge research accessible to a diverse, international audience.
